What is an arrival card?
An arrival card is a declaration requested for entry processing. It can collect passport, journey, accommodation, contact, health or customs information. The exact fields and timing are set by the destination authority.

Does it replace a visa?
Usually not. Thailand's Digital Arrival Card guide treats TDAC as an arrival submission. Visa eligibility and permission are separate questions. Indonesia directs visa applications through its official eVisa service.

When should it be submitted?
Use the official timing window. Do not rely on a date copied from an old article or social post. If the system rejects an early submission, return during the stated window rather than changing travel details.

Can one person complete it for a family?
Some systems allow grouped submission, but each traveller's information must still be accurate. Follow the authority's current instructions for children and dependants.

Prefer the official authority service. Check the domain before entering passport information, keep the confirmation and avoid sending full travel documents through ordinary email or messaging apps.

- Use the passport that will be carried.
- Enter the real arrival and accommodation details.
- Save the confirmation securely.
- Check whether a separate visa or authorisation is required.
