An eVisa is a visa issued through an online process. Instead of completing every step at an embassy or consulate, eligible travellers usually submit an online form, upload the requested documents and pay the applicable government fee digitally.
The approval may be linked electronically to the passport, delivered by email or made available for download. Some authorities still tell travellers to carry a printed or digital copy, so follow the instructions supplied with the approval.
