Pre-departure review
What to review before an international trip
A final travel-document review covering passports, visas, authorisations, arrival forms, transit and official updates.

Passport and identity
Confirm that the passport is valid for the whole journey and meets the destination's remaining-validity and condition rules. Tickets and applications should match the passport details used for travel.

Visa, authorisation and arrival requirements
Check each destination and transit point. An arrival card is normally separate from a visa or travel authorisation. Thailand's official TDAC guide and Indonesia's official eVisa service are examples of authority-run sources travellers should use for current instructions.

Supporting travel evidence
Authorities may ask about accommodation, onward travel, funds or the purpose of the visit. Carry records that accurately support the journey and meet the published rules. Do not create or alter evidence.

Keep documents accessible
Store confirmations securely and make sure they can be retrieved without relying on a single device or internet connection. Protect passport and application information from unnecessary sharing.
