A Visa on Arrival is a visa route available to eligible travellers at an approved airport, land border or port. Availability depends on passport, purpose, arrival point and current destination rules.
A Visa on Arrival is requested or issued when an eligible traveller reaches an approved point of entry. The traveller may need to present supporting documents, pay a government fee and complete immigration checks before a visa stamp, sticker or electronic permission is issued.
Some destinations also offer online pre-registration. Pre-registration can prepare the file in advance, but it does not remove border checks or guarantee issuance.
When travellers may use a Visa on Arrival
This route may be available for selected passport holders and limited short-stay purposes. The eligible nationalities, arrival points, payment methods and permitted activities are different for every destination.
