What is the difference between ETA 601 and eVisitor 651?

Both can support eligible short visits, but they cover different passports and use different application routes. ETA 601 applications use the Australian ETA app, while the eVisitor 651 application is completed through the official online service.

Can I work in Australia on a visitor visa?

Visitor routes generally do not permit ordinary work. Working Holiday, Work and Holiday, skilled, sponsored and other work routes have their own requirements. Use the official Visa Finder and visa listing before making plans.
