South Korea e-Arrival Card submission timing
Separate saved preparation, payment and official submission. Check the timing for your document and planned arrival.
Start your application →
Prepare early; submit within the Korean window
The government portal opens three days before arrival, using Korea Standard Time. You can save and pay for private preparation earlier. Staff wait until filing is permitted and check your arrival time before submission. Payment and preparation do not issue an arrival card.
Read the government guidance →The declaration lasts 72 hours after submission
An e-Arrival Card expires 72 hours after submission, or when you pass Korean immigration. Staff file close enough to arrival for its validity to cover your planned entry. A new arrival needs a new declaration. Tell us promptly if the journey changes.
Keep the actual issue number
The government sends the issue number to the email recorded in the declaration. Printing is normally unnecessary, but keep the number accessible. Your account records the actual confirmation after filing; a private payment receipt is separate.
