Ordinary visitor NZeTA requests
Tourism by air on an eligible visa-waiver passport. This service initially covers ordinary visitor requests, subject to passport, health and character checks. Australian and New Zealand citizens do not need this service. Transit, cruise, Australian permanent-resident and other specialist routes require separate review.
Check the passport you will travel on
An eligible visa-waiver passport is required for this air-arrival visitor route. British, Hong Kong and Taiwan passports have specific conditions. Existing New Zealand visas, citizenship exemptions and specialist travel routes can change what you need.
